6 Month Guarantee

OnTime Taxidermy guarantees your QUALITY mount will be ready for pick up within 6 months of receiving the tanned hide back from the commercial tannery. I can make a 6 month guarantee because I do taxidermy full time. Lead times for getting tanned deer hides back from the commercial tannery vary depending on the season. Typical off season lead times are 2 weeks. Peak season (November, December) lead times are usually about 2 months. In my experience, commercially tanned deer hides are superior to any thing that can be done in a small shop. The sophisticated fleshing equipment used by the commercial tannery create a smooth flexible hide with hair or fur that will last a lifetime. For smaller mammals, fish and birds, I usually do my own tanning since they are easier to flesh out.

Mounts can be done in as short a lead time as 2 months for additional cost. Prices vary depending on timing required and game species.

Payment Policy

A 50% deposit is required at the time the animal is dropped off to cover my costs of tanning the hide and the forms used for the mount. Final payment is required at the time of pick up of the finished mount and mounts not picked up within 30 days will incur a storage fee.
